HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

To be eligible to join Wanneroo Central Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade, we ask that you attend our monthly meetings and complete our 12 week induction program. This program includes attending training, maintenance and other specific induction events.

All eligible members will undergo a medical examination and police check (costs paid for by the City of Wanneroo).

Once you have fulfilled these requirements, you will be ready to go on the next available recruitment course.

Before applying, you should seriously consider whether or not you are up to the challenge. We attend fires throughout the year, including holidays, Christmas, New Years etc., and face physically and emotionally demanding situations. Wanneroo Central advises that you discuss joining a volunteer fire brigade with your family prior to making a commitment to the brigade.
